Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA): Convention Creative
Designing banners for the 2022 MEIA Emerging Issues Conference was an exciting opportunity. My goal was to create visually stunning banners that communicated the conference's key themes and message in a way that engaged attendees. By collaborating closely with the conference organizers and utilizing my design expertise, we were able to create banners that effectively higlighted this important event.

MEIA: Energy Advisor Promo
I was contracted by MEIA to create promo items for their Energy Advisor/Energy Efficiency program. This was a great opportunity to promote the program's benefits and encourage Manitobans to learn more. My goal was to design visually engaging creative that effectively communicated the program's features. By working closely with the MEIA team and utilizing my design skills, we were able to create effective materials that successfully promoted the program.

RR Books: Missing Maria Book Cover
I’d never designed a book cover before and was very excited when I had the copportunity to do just that for the newest novel published by RR Books, Missing Maria. It was a pleasure to worked closely with the author, Ryan Souter (the man behind RR Books) and create an exciting and engaging design that fit the world he’d created. The theme of this book cover is the dichotomy between the two primary environments at play in the novel: the ultra wealthy and the poverty stricken. Both Ryan and I are very happy with how the final design came out!
RR Books: Missing Maria Poster
As part of ongoing social media creative design for Ryan (BB Books) I was given the opportunity to design two posters to help promote his newest novel, Missing Maria. Without giving much away, the plot of the novel follows a mother searching for her missing daughter. I wanted to create cinamatic creative, reminiscent of a movie poster, that you couldn’t help but notice that focused on the primary elements of the novel: the search and the dark unfolding mystery. I provided Ryan with two posters that are very different, while still stylistically in the same family.
RR Books: Hope Rises Novel Promotions
Working with local author Ryan Souter, the man behind RR Books, on his novel Hope Rises, was a rewarding project. My role was to design a unique look and style that fit his novel, and create promotional elements for him to utilize on his social media channels to generate interest in the book. By collaborating closely with Ryan, we were able to create effective social media graphics that promoted the book and generated excitement from potential readers. The campaign was a success, with increased engagement on his social media channels.
CBCRA / Recycle Everywhere Program: Dos Don’ts Poster
Creating a poster for Recycle Everywhere that outlined the dos and don'ts of recycling in Manitoba was a challenging but rewarding project. My goal was to design a poster that was easy to read and understand while also being visually appealing. By researching the recycling guidelines in Manitoba, and working closely with the Recycle Everywhere team, we were able to create a poster that effectively communicated the information. The final product was well-received and helped to educate people on the importance of proper recycling practices.

CBCRA / Recycle Everywhere Program: App Promotions
Creating social media graphics to promote Recycle Everywhere's new app was an exciting project. My goal was to design visually compelling graphics that quickly and effectivley communicated the app's features and benefits the Recycle Everywhere team wanted highlighted. By collaborating closely with their team and utilizing my design skills, we were able to create social media graphics that successfully promoted the app and encouraged people to download it. The campaign was a success, with many Manitobans downloading the app and participating in the prize-based recycling program.
Serratus Movement Centre: Promo Posters
Serratus Movement Centre, a local gym and activation centre, reached out to me to design posters to highlight their new events and programs. The posters were utilized near the front entrance of their location to inform visitors of what’s coming up. By working closely with the Serratus Movement Centre team, I was able to create effective posters that successfully promoted the events and programs. They were well-received by the community and generated interest and excitement about the new offerings.
MEIA: Info Booklet
I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to design a four page booklet for the Manitoba Environmental Industries Association. As we were working on an aggressive timeline and conveying a dense amount of information, I decided to keep the design simple with comprehension as my primary focus. I was able to create a booklet that is clean, easy to read with a strong design that MEIA was happy to receive.
